Kagem Mining Strengthens Standards with ISO Renewals and New ISO 27001 Certification

On October 31st , Bureau Bureau Veritas Zambia handed over four certifications for internationally recognized ISO standards to Kagem Mining Limited, reflecting their strong commitment to responsible, sustainable, and well-governed operations.

Kagem was awarded the following Certifications: 

• ISO 9001 – Quality Management
• ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
• ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety
• ISO 27001 – Information Security Management

These certifications demonstrate Kagem’s ongoing dedication to continuous improvement, environmental stewardship, employee well-being, and data security — all key pillars of operational excellence.

The certification handover took place at Protea Hotel, Ndola, presented by Bureau Veritas Country Manager Harrison Muchenga and received by Kagem Mining Limited’s Board Chairman Dr. Sixtus Mulenga and General Manager Adriaan Prinsloo.
